ShowUp website and appointment reminder service · Updated October 2026
What we collect
When you submit a website inquiry, we collect your name, business name, email address, calendar compatibility response, optional SMS interest selection, and any message you provide. For customers using the reminder service, we may process business contact details, compatible Google Calendar event information (such as appointment times, attendee email addresses, and relevant event details), reminder delivery and confirmation status, and support communications. Payment information is processed through the Stripe / Link checkout rather than this website form. Hosting providers may process technical logs.
Why we collect it
We use inquiry details to reply to your questions and assess service compatibility. For paying businesses, we use authorized calendar and contact data to configure, send, and track appointment reminders, handle confirmation or change requests, provide support, and troubleshoot delivery. We use billing-related identifiers and status to manage service activation. We do not sell information submitted through the website inquiry form.
Who processes it
The website is hosted on Netlify, which may process inquiries submitted through its forms. ShowUp uses Google services for email and authorized calendar connections, n8n for workflow automation, and Stripe / Link for checkout and subscription billing. These providers process information as needed to deliver their respective services.
Retention and your choices
We retain information as needed to provide the service, handle support, maintain security and billing records, and meet applicable legal requirements. Actual retention periods can differ by record type. To request access, correction, or deletion, email showupreminders@gmail.com with “Privacy request” in the subject. Some records may need to be retained for legal or accounting reasons.
Cookies and analytics
This version of the website does not include advertising trackers or analytics code. Our hosting and payment providers may use operational logs or essential technologies needed to provide and protect their services.
Calendar access and customer choices
Businesses authorize calendar access during setup. ShowUp does not require access to a prospect’s calendar to provide a fictional sales demo. Businesses should only share calendars and event information they are authorized to use and should ensure the relevant customers can receive their appointment-related emails. To ask about calendar access, service cancellation, or data handling, email showupreminders@gmail.com.
